The Jacob Burckhardt House (architects Zwimpfer Partner and Jakob Steib) is part of the EuroVille development strategy around the SBB railway station in Basel, to develop the area to become a transportation hub and a service centre for the tri-national region. The Jakob Burckhardt House has a comb-shaped design and contains six buildings over a total length of approx. 210 metres and breadth of approx. 45 metres.
