Zadar. The Captain's Tower is a pentagonal tower on the Five Wells Square, built by the Venetians to strengthen the city against Turkish attacks. It the last surviving tower and gets its name from the nearby residence of the Venetian city captain, and is now used as an exhibition space. On the back St Simeon church.
