Norway-Oslo-Bergen Railway
Bjørn Ove Botten, Finse's station-master is also the postman of this small village where today live not more than 10 people. Finse, 1222 meters above sea level is the highest station of the Oslo-Bergen railway, in the heart of the harsh and inhospitable Hardangervidda plateau.
